A radio deejay would call this a “blast from the past”. A classic perhaps? Written first in 2016. It’s still our focus! I’m here to say that a few years after writing this piece. Building your business & growing your brand while supporting important causes & being involved in your community. Our Tequila Blues Explosion Events and our Animales Angels projects are key examples of us doing that. Sports projects coming soon too. You can stand out with your own social and cause support. Or partner with us going forward. We’re here to help!

Getting Your Mojo Back Day 6-Time To Pause And Reflect

About Bob Rempel: Between projects he leads in the community, such as the Tequila Blues Explosion Festival or the related Concerts For A Cause in Ixtapa,Mexico, because he loves the music, and because the kids in the orphanage deserve to have an opportunity to realize their full potential too…

or showing restaurant and bar owners what they could learn about attracting new customers and keeping them, from The Paco Methods, a system inspired by the successes of the 12 year Paco selling empenadas on the Acapulco beaches…

Bob too often wonders where the mojo has gone, as he channels Mike Myers in Austin Powers.

Even though he is driven and determined always, and creative marketing with causes that also benefit, is a specialty, he knows Mojo comes and goes, often without notice. Even if you should have the best karma in the world.

This 10 Day Project is as much for him as it is for you. Want your mojo back for your business, your life? Want a partner for the journey. We’d love to talk. Send Bob a direct message at bob at bobrempel.com

It’s Day 4 Of Getting Your Mojo Back And It’s Starting To Work And Feel Good

We Believe The Future of Business Is Social Enterprises

RedAdairOne of my business heroes is a firefighter.  A very specialized fire fighter.   Red Adair was his name.  He capped and halted oil well fires around.   Oil well fires are very costly.  It’s a finite resource.  Oil is valuable and has a price per barrel.   Adair often still had a lot of questions and concern about his fees. His famous quote sticks in my mind:

“If you think it’s expensive to hire a professional to do this job, wait until you hire an amateur”

Einstein is often quoted (I suspect perhaps only literally and not reflecting his nuanced meaning and understanding of what it is) as “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.

One of the most difficult types of business to build is a social enterprises because it has a dual purpose and leaders and manager have to have at least two minds active at all times.  The team is rarely strong enough, even exhausted and the ideas are often weak and resources minimal.

This is our call to action to Social Enterprises everywhere to build a stronger team, reinforce and strengthen your mission and purpose, and your commitment.  This is our call to action to friends and supporters of social enterprises to encourage them to take the steps they need to succeed.

It is always about keeping in sight the mission and purpose of the enterprise, even when revenues must be paramount to allow the organization to continue.  Without achievement on the mission front, any success on the business side is just hollow.  We truly want social enterprises to succeed.

Mindset Important:

My experience leading a social enterprise and my observation of many others tells me starts with believing in yourself as an organization, believing in your mission, believing in your people. In many cases, mindset is the most appropriate starting point for business renewal and revitalization.

Social Enterprises Viable Future Business Model:

Personally, and as a consulting organization, we’re very bullish about the future of social enterprises as a viable business model in our market economies.  Even as a glass half full model, we need more enlightened entrepreneurs, more entrepreneurs with a vision for the world we all live in together, and more governments and regulatory authority that reward and encourage businesses with both a social mission and purpose that work and play in the competitive environment.
